Mumbai: HRD Antwerp has always been a global front-runner for industry related education, which includes diamonds, gemstones and jewellery. With the Indian gem and jewellery industry being a global leader when it comes to exports of diamonds, gemstones and jewellery, HRD Antwerp earlier this year decided to expand its education activities in India, and is now opening a brand new education campus to welcome students in Mumbai.

Mr. Ari Epstein, CEO of AWDC and Chairman of HRD Antwerp, inaugurated the new education campus of HRD Antwerp India at the IL&FS Financial Centre, walking distance from Bharat Diamond Bourse, BKC, Mumbai. The ceremony took place on 9 November 2017 in the presence of various Indian and International dignitaries and stalwarts of the Indian diamond industry.

To be able to cater to the growing need for technical and high-quality gem and jewellery education in India, this state-of-the-art campus will host industry related courses, including the internationally recognized HRD Antwerp “Certified Diamond Grader” diploma course, short duration diamond grading and identification courses, retail jewellery courses and customized industry training programmes.
