Gem-A Postpones Upcoming AGM

Text logo and heraldry colour 2767uLondon: The Council of Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) has announced that it will be postponing the Association’s upcoming AGM, due to take place on 24 June 2015, citing the need to resolve internal matters.

Following a press statement confirming the dates of their upcoming AGM, the Council of the Association has taken the decision to postpone the AGM until further notice. In an official statement the Council cites the following reasons for the postponement, saying: “The Council of Gem-A announce that they have been advised in the current circumstances that it is appropriate to postpone the AGM scheduled for 24th June until various internal matters have been duly examined, debated and concluded.”

The Council would like to assure members that the board are working diligently to resolve these issues and a revised date will be announced in due course, and in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of the Association. Gem-A has apologized to all its members for this decision and any inconvenience caused.
