6th Mubri World Meeting : Together We Shine More

Mumbai: In 2020 Mubri International Jeweler´s Association became the Jewelers Association with the highest number of members worldwide. In 2021, despite the economic challenges in the world and in the sector, the initiative remains stronger

Mubri started the journey in 2016 primarily supporting the advancement and professional development of women. In 2019, after the Association’s rapid growth, men began to apply for membership and today it serves all entrepreneurs in the sector, regardless of gender, with 17 chapters along Asia, Europe and Latin America. Every year the Association promotes the World Meeting, which until 2019 was held in a country or a Jewelry Fair to promote debates and publicize the members present. In 2020, due to Covid19, the Association organized the Meeting virtually and it was a big hit in the year standing out as one of the best events in the jewelry industry with more than 3,000 attendees. This year, still due to the current situation, the Board decided to repeat the virtual model and will promote from September 2nd to September 4th the sixth 2021 World Meeting.

During the World Meeting, members and guests will have the opportunity to attend excellent webinars with international professionals from the sector talking about the most diverse topics. Always bringing high quality professionals, and current and innovative themes, this year Mubri International President, Ali Pastorini, promises surprises with the names of the speakers and the chosen themes. All webinars will be held via the Zoom platform at times that are suitable for members from different countries to watch. In addition, most webinars will have simultaneous translation so there is no language barrier and everyone has access to learning.

Parallel to this will launch a virtual jewelry exhibition from some Mubri member brands. Each participant will exhibit a piece that represents their masterpiece. The virtual exhibition will be available to everyone see for thirty days and will be shared with clients around the world, including visitors from major international Jewelery Shows. Visitors will have access not only to the piece, but also to the artist’s name, his/her biography, description of the piece and how to contact the brand.

“Our idea is to always promote and give greater visibility to participating brands. We are the bridge between our designers and real customers. The industry has many people who promote and don’t deliver. We know that behind each ark there is a lot of work, dreams and goals”, says Ali Pastorini, Mubri´s International Presidente.
