Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Tardeo, Mumbai, (IIGJ) recently organized a ‘Workshop on Enameling’ by Mr. Kana Lomror which was well attended. The institute now proposes to organize another full day workshop on Enameling on 11th October 2014, a News Release from the Institute says.
IIGJ Tardeo participates actively in Career Fairs. The institute motivates artistic and creative talents and encourages its students to participate in Competitions & Exhibitions. Recently, one of the IIGJ students was selected for Varuna Jani’s ‘VOW’ Initiative, 15 students participated in All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation’s ‘National Jewellery Awards 2014’, wherein one IIGJ student was selected for 2nd round. 2 students have participated in Jdwarka Competition. 21 students participated in Artisan Jewellery Design Awards organized by GJEPC.
IIGJ Mumbai is an educational project of the India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) which is a body of Government of India. Industry targets to train creative talent professionally through IIGJ to fulfill the ever increasing demand for manpower for the flourishing Gems & jewellery trade of India.
