Roberto Coin Brand to be Exhibited in CARAT+

Antwerp: Roberto Coin, one of the world’s most sought-after Italian jewellery brands, has confirmed that it will exhibit at the premiere edition of CARAT+ in Antwerp, May 7 to 9, 2017. With more than 600 new models of fine jewellery created every year, the Roberto Coin brand is today distributed via more than 1,000 points of sales in some 63 countries. Favoured by celebrities, the distinctive jewellery is a frequent and prominent feature at international red carpet events for the film and music industries.

The presence of Mr. Roberto Coin at the new jewellery show, which when it kicks off in three months will become the largest international event worldwide dedicated exclusively to diamonds and diamond jewellery, was announced by the Event Director, Filip Van Laere. “We are delighted to have jewellery brand of the calibre of Roberto Coin,” he said. “Not only is it immaculately designed and crafted, but it also is a trendsetter, breaking new ground in the industry from collection to collection.”

The brand is inexorably associated with its founder, Roberto Coin. Born in Venice, he turned his focus to jewellery design at age 32, after a successful career in the hotel industry. He launched the jewellery line carrying his name in 1996, and is today president and CEO of a string of companies, including Roberto Coin Spa in Italy, the Fifth Season Manufacturing in Italy, Roberto Coin Inc. in New York, Roberto Coin Diamond Centre in Dubai and Roberto Coin Hong Kong.

Mr Coin also has been deeply involved in advancing the jewellery industry’s ethical and social role, and was recognized for this activity respect when he was named a winner of an International Palladio Award as the best brand for corporate social responsibility in the jewelry industry. Back home Mr Coin is a Grande Ufficiale, or Lord of the Italian Republic, in recognition of his contribution to the state.

Covering the full spectrum of the diamond and diamond jewellery trades, CARAT+ will feature four sectors, namely loose diamonds, branded diamond jewellery, non-branded diamond jewellery, and services for the diamond and diamond jewellery industry. Taking place in Hall 1 and Hall 4 of the Antwerp Expo, entry to the show be restricted exclusively to industry professionals, including diamond and jewellery wholesalers and manufacturers from around the world, and jewellery retailers predominantly from Europe.
