Pune: PNG Jewellers, as part of its corporate social responsibility and community outreach, will donate 500 PPE Kits for doctors and support staff at 3 hospitals in Pune city to strengthen our first line of defence against the menace of the COVID 19 virus. The company has started the distribution of PPE kits which include Hand gloves, Masks, safety goggles, Full body covering gowns, Bedsheets to KEM Hospital, Bharati Hospital Dhankawadi and Noble Hospital Hadapsar. More kits are awaited to be distributed.
This initiative comes as part of the community outreach by the PNG team in these unprecedented times of difficulty. The aim of the organization is to identify the needs of people on the ground and those who are in the midst of this battle by supporting them with necessary material, food and other essentials. The PNG team is working to increase its community outreach and help those in need.
Chairman and Managing director of PNG Jewellers, Mr. Saurabh Gadgil Said, “Our doctors, nurses and other support staff at hospitals are directly in the line of fire during this crisis. Our small initiative and support is a token of appreciation to them and an acknowledgement of their great service and sacrifice to the nation. It is our job to do whatever it takes to ensure that they do not have to carry the burden of all of us and hence we must stay indoors and stay safe and play our part to beat the coronavirus. As we move forward we will be extending further support to those in need!”
