Toronto: Ouroboro Diamonds of Rare Color has announced the release of the “Oro,” a limited-edition gold and diamond ingot.

The “Oro” is made from one troy ounce of 24-karat (99.99% or .9999) pure yellow gold. Each ingot has a round, brilliant-cut, D-color, Internally Flawless diamond of at least 0.25 carats – certified by the GIA – embedded at its center.

Each ingot costs C$7,500 ($6,8520) and is embossed with obverse and reverse designs depicting a stylized maple leaf pattern and a family of polar bears.

Only 200 of the pieces, which are designed and produced in Canada, are being made. Each hand-crafted piece is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
