Israeli Diamonds to Shine at JCK Las Vegas

Ramat Gan:  Israeli diamonds will shine once again at JCK Las Vegas, which takes place from June 3 to June 6, 2016. The Israeli Diamond Industry (IsDI) will again be among the largest international exhibitor groups, with some 60 Israeli diamond companies participating. According to the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI), the Israel Diamond Pavilion will this year comprise 34 exhibitors, with more than 30 Israeli diamond companies exhibiting at other locations throughout the show.

The Israel Diamond Pavilion has been moved this year to a central location in the heart of the Diamond Plaza. IDI will be operating a Lounge at B54051 where refreshments will be served throughout the day. Moreover, IDI will be inviting clients to a special toast on Sunday, June 5th at 12 pm.

Find Your Diamond stations will be placed in two separate locations: in the “First Look” area at the entrance to the show and in the Israel Diamond Pavilion Lounge. The very popular proprietary system, which enables buyers to search the inventory of all Israeli exhibitors at the show, can now also, be accessed on smartphones.

The United States continues to be Israel’s biggest export market for polished diamonds. Last year 40% of Israel’s net polished diamond exports of $5 billion went to the American market, worth a total of $2 billion.

IDI Chairman Shmuel Schnitzer said, “It’s no secret that the diamond industry worldwide has been going through trying times. However we are seeing signs of a recovery. The good news is that the American market is doing well and the demand for diamonds is growing. That’s why we are optimistic about JCK Las Vegas this year. The United States is our largest market for polished diamonds and we are working hard to maintain our key position in this market,” he said.
