Mumbai: Enthused by the success of the previous editions of the India Diamond Week which commenced in 2014, India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is organizing the 5th India Diamond Week in joint association with DDC (Diamond Dealers Club) in New York to be held from August 22 – 25, 2016 at the Diamond Dealers Club at 580/5th Avenue, New York, USA.

USA is the major market for diamonds as exports to USA are pegged at US$ 6.1 billion higher than that from Belgium and Israel, the industry strongly believes that USA will continue to be a strong global trading partner as US shows early signs of positive economic growth. GJEPC in its effort to promote the Indian gems and jewellery industry is continuously looking for the opportunity to create a distinctive platform, in an effort to create the same; GJEPC is planning to organize the 5th India Diamond Week at the DDC in association with Diamond Dealer Club in NY.

The prime objective of the event Is to create a platform for the Indian Diamantaires to fortify the business relationship with, and at the biggest buying hub of diamonds.
