Mumbai: It was a Proud moment for India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) when the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) Premiere received Exhibition Excellence Awards on 21st June 2024 in Mumbai.

“IIJS Premiere 2023” won two awards 1) Top Sourcing Show of India – Winner and 2) India’s Grand Show -1st runner’s up. The winner awards were received by Mr. Shamal Pote Director, National Events – IIJS, GJEPC India.

Exhibitions are the catalyst to the nation’s economic growth and they promote national initiatives & industries to grow. Exhibition Organisers, Service Providers and Venues work tirelessly to make events happen. The Exhibition Excellence Awards are an initiative to recognise the unsung  heroes of the  exhibition industry and to acknowledge their contribution. The Exhibition Excellence Awards have been  supported by Ministry of Skill Development, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of MSME, NSIC, ASSOCHAM, PHDCCI, Indian Exhibition Industry Association, Indian Exhibition Services Association, Indian Industries Association, UFI, IAEE, Indian Convention Promotion Bureau, Event & Entertainment Management Association, IESA, AFECA, TCEI, PIOCCI, SACEOS, TECA, IETA, RUEF, & ASME, in its previous editions. Today, The Exhibition Excellence Awards have established into a Mega initiative for industry. All in all, this year the event was full of whole day action, amazing business opportunities and some truly memorable experiences.
