Mumbai: The Indian Institute of Gem and Jewellery (IIGJ) Mumbai witnessed a landmark celebration for its 13th Convocation Ceremony for the award of Degree in Bachelor of Arts (Gems & Jewellery) 2019 along with parents, students and esteemed guests.
The Institute acknowledged the success and achievement of the graduating students for their sustained hard work, perseverance and dedication by awarding them trophies and certificated for their performance at Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) in Mumbai.
The Convocation ceremony captured the essence of nostalgia and will be fondly remember by the outgoing batch of class of 2019.

Ltd, Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman IIGJ, Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director GJEPC, Mr. Anoop Mehta, President BDB, Mr. Mehul Shah, Vice President BDB, Mr. Praveen Shankar Pandya, Former Chairman GJEPC, Board of Directors of IIGJ – Mr. Sanjay Kothari, Mrs. Namita Pandya, Mr. Mansukh Kothari, Mr. Shishir Nevatia, Mr. Ashok Gajera, Mr. Nirmal Kumar Barmecha and Head of the Institute Mr. Sanjoy Ghosh graced the occasion.
Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman IIGJ Mumbai extended his warm welcome those present and formally dedicated 38 highly qualified graduates to the Gem and Jewellery industry. He also congratulated the students for achieving this milestone by their consistent hard work and dedication.

Guest of honor Mr. Alkesh Shah, Vice Chairman Gold Star Jewellery Pvt. Ltd endowed young pupils with his words of wisdom and experience which made students feel extremely privileged and honored to be a part of the Institute.
The IIGJ Chairman’s Trophy 2019 was awarded to Ms. Swati Mour. Ms. Jayati Thakkar was declared the first runner up and Mr. Shlok Jain was announced as the second runner up for the consistent performance & excellence during their 3 year degree programme.
