Mumbai: All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF), the apex trade body of gems & jewellery, conducted yet another ‘Labham’ powered by Fischer, Prince Hallmarking Centre and co-powered by Dosti Realty on 5th June 2017 in Mumbai. We also received a whole hearted support from our associate sponsors Nakoda Hallmarking, Augustino, Acme Infinity, supported by Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers, Maharashtra Saraf Suvarnakar Mahamandal & JagannathnGangaram Pednekar Jewellers.
GJF has conducted 3 successful seminars in Mumbai in May 2017 and has plans to conduct almost 30 such seminars pan India by the end of 2019.
Labham which is an interactive and intensive one-day educational seminar on compliance, risk management and best business practices in the gems & jewellery industry received good response in locations – Zaveri Bazar, Ulhasnagar and Dadar as yet. Approximately 120 jewellers attended the sessions in Labham seminar held in Dadar on 5th June 2017. The seminars were conducted by renowned Chartered Accountant and subject matter expert Mr.Avinash Ravani.
The seminar topics include: Key Features of Budget 2017-18 * Hallmarking * Goods and Service Tax (GST) and * Direct Taxation
