Mumbai: The Trade Policy department of GJEPC will be hosting a Workshop on April 7, 2015 to familiarize the trade with the new procedures for refund of octroi that have come into effect recently.

Officials from the BMC’s Octroi department will make a presentation on the new online developments in the procedures related to e-filing. The presentation will be specifically discuss this in the context of filing of returns related to diamonds, pearls, precious stones, semi-precious stones etc. The officials will also explain the new process for e-Refund filling, following which there will be a Q & A session.

The workshop will be held at S.G. Jhaveri Trading Hall, H Tower, BDB, BKC between 3-5 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.

The workshop is open only to companies that are members of the Council. There is no registration fee. The Council has invited owners (along with the concerned staff handling octroi) to kindly attend this important.
