
Lucknow: India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) participated in the Mega MSME Sammelan 2025, organised by ASSOCHAM in Lucknow on 26-27 June to mark MSME Day. The event celebrated the contributions of MSMEs to India’s economy and exports and explored ways to strengthen their growth.
Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman (North), GJEPC, addressed the gathering, highlighting the Council’s initiatives including access to MSME schemes, domestic and international exhibition participation, the Parichay Card scheme, and infrastructure projects like Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC, Gem Bourse in Jaipur, and IIGJ Delhi.
He also reaffirmed GJEPC’s export target of USD 45 billion by 2030, aligning with India’s vision for a developed economy by 2047. The event drew nearly 500 attendees, including policymakers, industry leaders, and MSME stakeholders from diverse sectors.
