GJEPC Launches 'Jewellers for Hope' Campaign

Mumbai: For the first time, the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has initiated its first edition of ‘Jewellers for Hope’ campaign, a CSR activity with an objective to build a CSR fund that will be used to support various social causes.

A charity dinner has been hosted by the GJEPC in Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt on Friday for the manufacturers and retailers in the gems and jewellery sector to raise their contributions for the campaign. The funds collected at the event will be donated to “Make a wish’ foundation, which will further utilize the money to fulfill the wish of terminally ill children.

Through this initiative, GJEPC would like to spread the message that this the industry is built on business ethics and also create awareness about the Gem & Jewellery’s philanthropic initiative in India to give back to the society.

Top manufactures and their retailers will be present at this gala event. This gala dinner will provide a platform for both the manufacturers and retailers to talk business and also work together for the betterment of the society.

The Event is sponsored by Gemological Science International (GSI), one of the largest gemological laboratories in the world. Established in 2005 it’s the youngest and most progressive organizations in its field that became global powerhouse with its offices strategically positioned to serve major markets. They too strongly believe in giving back to the society in a beneficial way especially taking responsibility of future generations.
