Dubai: The IIJS Tritiya promotion team launched a door-to-door outreach campaign in Dubai’s Gold Souq, marking a pivotal step towards strengthening the relationships of Indian jewellery manufacturers in Dubai, one of the world’s most dynamic jewellery hubs.
The Dubai Gold Jewellery Group has also extended its support, pledging to disseminate information on IIJS Tritiya among its members. This direct engagement underscores GJEPC’s proactive approach to linking Indian gems and jewellery with potential buyers in the GCC market.
IIJS Tritiya 2024 is being organised at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru, India from 5th to 8th April 2024. This edition will feature 1,900+ booths and 900+ exhibitors.
Jewellers from well-known brands in Hind Plaza, Gold Land, and Gold Center have expressed keen interest and excitement for Indian jewellery, marking the success of the GJEPC’s efforts in promoting IIJS Tritiya within the GCC region.
The first phase of the campaign also met with representatives from Thangals Jewellers, Arakkal, Ain Jewellery, NRI Jewellery, Trichy Gold, Chemmanur Jewellery, Thazi Gold & Diamond, and Zaiba Jewellery.
GJEPC Represents G&J Sector at Regional MSME Exports Summit:
Mumbai: The Regional MSME Exports Summit was held in Mumbai on 10th February, drawing attention to the crucial theme of “Navigating the Global Business Landscape for MSMEs”. The summit, graced by esteemed panellists and dignitaries, aimed to explore avenues for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to thrive in the international market.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished personalities such as Mr. Ateesh Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME; Mr. Vinod Kumar, President of India SME Forum and panel moderator; Mr. Pratik Vaidya, President of India SME Forum – Maharashtra Chapter; and Ms. Sushma Morthania, DG, India SME Forum.
The panel discussion witnessed the participation of eminent figures from various sectors, including Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC); Mr. Abbas Panju, Managing Director of UPS Express India; Mr. Arun Sehgal, Chairman & MD of Chempro Pharma Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Ajay Singh, Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Hindustan Platinum; Mr. Krunal Goda, Director of Anant Tattva Pvt. Ltd.; and Mr. Saurabh Puri, Chief Business Officer – Credit Cards at Zaggle.
Mr. Ray explained that GJEPC was empowering MSMEs for sustainable development by steering several policy initiatives and spearheading infrastructure development like the Mega CFC in SEEPZ and the India Jewellery Park in Navi Mumbai.
