CaratLane Presented Affordable Jewellery

Mumbai: When it comes to affordable everyday jewellery that has design, elegance and style, then the name CaratLane is on top of every woman’s list for ornaments. The CaratLane collection at India International Jewellery Week 2017 powered by GIA was a smorgasbord of items that will thrill women of all ages and professions. The brand is India’s largest Omni channel jeweller with several firsts to its credit in the business.

CaratLane, a Tanishq partnership offers the first 3D virtual try-on jewellery App called the ‘Perfect Look App’ to try multiple pieces. CaratLane also gives customers a 20 per cent savings because of its low overheads and just in time inventory. With 24 stores in all the big cities of India and delivery through its website, CaratLane offers a variety of daily wear ornaments.

The show stopper was a unique entry with the very perky young girl, Aarya Joshi wearing multiple chains and a ring-cum-bracelet miming the song as the models rocked down the ramp.

The crisp, well-edited line of jewellery called ‘Bombay Deco’ was a tribute to the Bombay, people love. Featured in the display were the Aaranya, Peacock, Butterfly, Lotus, Bombay Deco, Dhokra, Ikat, Uttarakshin, Sway and the Un-nostalgic Gold lines that offered not only variety but style, design and immense options for functional and festive wear.

The Aaranya section featured the flora of the forest with leaves and tree designs, while the Peacock line had the blue, green and yellow as enamel of the bird appearing in the delicate ornaments.

When it came to the Butterfly segment it was a lively look at the inspiration with blue, orange and green as the identities for the gorgeous pieces. The Lotus was recreated with the Gulabi Meenakari, while the Bombay Deco pieces represented the art deco from many of Bombay’s iconic buildings like Liberty Cinema and Empress Court.

Dhokra was all about tribal designs and the Ikat line featured the Ikat in gold with granules and interplay of enamel. The Uttarakshin segment brought the beauty of the North and South once again with Gulabi Meenakari. The Sway line had fun filled tassels in 18K gold with flowing chains and diamond drops for the very fine jewellery.

Finally the Un-nostalgic Gold line, which had gold in lace, struck and crushed treatments was the new look for the yellow metal that will thrill women who love innovative pieces in their jewel box.

The rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, bangles, were studded with precious stones in gold with traditional as well as contemporary designs.

From beautifully created delicate shoulder dusters, to fragile pendants, imposing rings, chunky bangles and bracelets the collection was aimed at the jet setting women of the 21st century.

When it comes to buying jewellery, which will not only last a lifetime but is also suitable for all occasions then it is the CaratLane collection that women will opt for.
