Argyle Pink Diamond Masterpiece Debuts

Sydney: Australian jeweller J Farren-Price is showcasing the first jewellery piece crafted from a new collection of rare pink diamonds from Argyle. Known as The Argyle Heritage Collection™, the first masterpiece, The Argyle Lotus™ ring, is the debut jewel of the collection and comprises 3.34 carats of Argyle Pink Diamonds™, complemented by 3.82 carats of white diamonds.

The Argyle LotusTM will be available for sale for A$930,000 through J Farren-Price’s store in Sydney. The delicate floral creation is set in 18-karat rose gold, with the graceful petals unfurling from a 0.12-carat Fancy Blue Argyle Diamond™ nestled on the underside, as a symbol of water.

The Argyle Heritage Collection™ is a special collaboration with Argyle Pink Diamonds Icon Partner™, GLAJZ, to transform twenty of the highest colour spectrum of Argyle pink diamonds into limited edition jewellery pieces.

The Argyle pink diamonds range in size from 0.30 carat to above 1 carat, including three former Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender™ diamonds. The other pieces to comprise the multi-million-dollar Argyle Heritage Collection™, each painstakingly crafted, will be revealed by J Farren-Price in the coming months.

Patrick Coppens, General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Rio Tinto’s Diamonds business said, “We are delighted with this creative collaboration and The Argyle Lotus™ ring is a fitting debut piece for this heritage collection of masterpieces that will speak to the beauty and precious provenance of these outstanding jewels.”

Julian Farren-Price, Director of J Farren-Price, said, “This extraordinary collection of rare Argyle Pink Diamonds is a dream come true. We are excited to honour the world’s most iconic pink diamonds and each creation in the Argyle Heritage Collection™ will represent the ultimate in rarity and collectability.”
