Antwerp: Mr. Ronnie Vanderlinden was elected as the president of World Diamond Council (WDC) and Mr. Anoop Mehta was elected as Vice President of the WDC un-opposed.

During the recently held AGM of WDC in Antwerp, Mr. Ronnie Vanderlinden was appointed President of WDC and Mr. Anoop Mehta who is currently serving as the President of Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB), was unanimously elected as Vice President of WDC.

At a time when the diamond industry is looking at overcoming challenges due economic uncertainties, both Mr. Ronnie Vanderlinden and Mr. Anoop Mehta come with rich Industry experience. Industry members world wide applauded the appointments as wishes poured in. 

Mr. Mehta joins Mr. Vanderlinden to help lead WDC in its efforts to better structure the diamond Industry for a better future.
