New York: The 3rd India Diamond Week organized by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) in association with the Diamond Dealer Club, New York opens on August 24, 2015 and will run till August 27.

As many as 26 leading diamond companies from India will be participating in the event. Launched last year as a trading platform to help Indian diamond manufacturers and traders establish business ties with companies from the world’s largest diamond jewellery market, the earlier editions of the India Diamond Week have been well received.

In addition to the one-on-one sessions between buyers and sellers that will take place during trading hours, the GJEPC is also hosting a Gala Dinner Networking Event on August 25, 2015. In addition to the representatives of the participating companies, leading representatives of international and US trade associations, diamond dealers and manufacturers as well as officials of the Indian consulate at New York are also expected to be present.
