GJEPC Confers ’20 Under 40′ Awards

Mumbai: India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) honoured 20 emerging industry leaders at the 20 Under 40 Awards, held at BEC during IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 on 8th August. The awards recognised young entrepreneurs and professionals across manufacturing, retail, diamonds, jewellery, laboratories and allied businesses for their contribution to the industry.

The GJEPC leadership present included Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman; Mr. Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman; Mr. Mansukh Kothari, Convener – Events; Mr. Vijay Mangukiya, Convener – International Events; Mr. Ashish Borda, Convener – PMBD; Mr. Nirav Bhansali, Co-Convener – National Events; and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director.

Mr. Kirit Bhansali said the initiative was created to recognize young talent, encourage fresh ideas and provide a platform for future leaders to connect and learn from one another. “Leadership is not decided by age or position. It is earned through your values, actions, and the trust you build with others. The 20 Under 40 Awards by GJEPC celebrate a remarkable group of young entrepreneurs and professionals who are shaping the future of India’s Gem & Jewellery industry. They have a responsibility to build successful businesses, create opportunities for others, support their teams, and uphold the reputation of the industry.”

Among the dignitaries invited to present the awards were Mr. Pritesh Patel, President & CEO, GIA; Mr. Sriram Natarajan, Senior VP, Laboratory Operations, GIA; and Mr. Amit Pratihari, Managing Director, GIA India.
